Our Commitment

Since 2017, we have developed the Validaide platform with a commitment to objectivity and a community-driven approach for planning. In 2025, as a result of the integration with SkyCell, we decided to add performance, monitoring and interventions to the planning focus. The objectivity principle guides our work, recognizing that only by addressing the needs of all platform users can we effectively serve our customers.

Based on this approach, the Validaide platform has grown to a unique community of more than 1900 companies, consisting of pharma manufacturers, freight forwarders, thermal packaging providers, air carriers, ground handling agents, warehouse & trucking companies and ocean carriers. These companies use and trust our platform to define and share their pharmaceutical handling capabilities and Lane Risk Assessments & support the needs of their logistic chain planning and operations.

To uphold our commitment to objectivity, we follow these strategic practices:

1. Advisory Board & Governance

Prior to our launch in 2017, we established an Advisory Board with key stakeholders to advise the Validaide management team on strategic topics and platform functionality. Today the Advisory Board is comprised of representatives from pharmaceutical manufacturers, freight forwarders, airlines, and packaging providers, as well as independent experts. With our Advisory Board, we ensure the perspective and interest from all stakeholders are taken into consideration in our development and strategic decisions.

2. Transparency & Integration

We provide Validaide users with visibility into our methodologies, such as the Pharma Index calculation within our Lane Risk Assessments. This transparency allows users to understand and trust our algorithms.

Where possible, we use Data Third Party Providers to ensure our platform reflects real world.

3. Industry and Academic Research Foundation

Where possible, we base our software on established industry guidelines and independent academic research. Our Lane Risk Assessment approach originated from an R&D project with TU Eindhoven and input from various industry experts. For our Sustainability Assessment Module, we incorporate the open-source algorithm developed by researchers from the MIT Center for Transport & Logistics, use data from the Network for Transport Measures (NTM) and are collaborating for further releases with Virginia Tech to establish standardized, validated material assumptions across all known packaging types.

4. Controlled Data Sharing & Versioning

On the Validaide platform, each company retains full ownership, control & versioning over their content, deciding with whom to share their information & when and how to update the information. Data sharing is generally limited to interactions between customers and suppliers, without sharing between competitors—unless explicitly authorized.

5. Commitment to Quality, Security and Compliance

We provide a secure, ISO 9001- and ISO 27001-certified platform and adhere to industry regulations, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ensuring the safe and compliant use of electronic records. These practices are guiding principles for our company, and each user of the Validaide platform can be ensured these practices will be maintained in the future.
