Validaide achieves ISO 27001 Certification: A Milestone in Information Security Excellence

Updated: Dec 29, 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Validaide has achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification, a significant milestone in our commitment to information security.

This accomplishment reflects our dedication to safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring the highest standards of security for our customers.

What is ISO 27001 Certification?

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized information security management system (ISMS) standard. This certification demonstrates that Validaide has implemented comprehensive and effective measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

With this certification, we have achieved:

  • Enhanced Security Measures: we have implemented robust security controls and measures to identify, manage, and mitigate information security risks.

  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance:  Validaide complies with relevant laws and regulations concerning data protection and information security.

  • Continuous Improvement:  We are committed to regularly reviewing and enhancing our information security practices, staying ahead of emerging threats.

Mark Bijl, Validaide's CTO adds: "Though Validaide established and maintained an Information Security Management System (ISMS) since its founding, this year we decided to bring our ISMS to the next level by obtaining ISO 27001 certification (edition 2022). The team has worked diligently to implement any missing controls during the last half year. By obtaining this certification, it is my hope that we satisfy the expectations and requirements of our existing and prospective customers with regard to IT security."

Jointly with obtaining ISO 27001 certification, Validaide is also launching its new Trust Center where current and prospective customers can obtain up-to-date information about Validaide security practices and the latest information.

Various documents can also be found and downloaded from the Trust Center, such as our ISO 27001:2022 certificate, Code of Conduct, and latest penetration test summary report.

"In addition, by launching the new Trust Center my team and I try to provide more transparency and easier access to relevant and up-to-date information. Hopefully, this makes the life of our customer's IT colleagues a little bit easier!" Mark Bijl summarises.
